Flanigan's
This one was such a disappointment.
I must add a disclaimer here; I have eaten at Flanagan’s a lot. I have had their fries many times before and enjoy it immensely. However, when we ordered these fries, we might have made a mistake. Flanagan is not a fast food location, so we called ahead to have an order ready for us. We were lucky enough to have an insider, a sister, in fact, of one of the members of our posse. A sister who was really cool. She had our order set for us in a Styrofoam container. Perhaps that was our folly. French fries are not known for their shelf life. A fry can lose more than half of its potency within in minutes. French fries are fickle beasts and getting them in a closed container maybe playing too close to the fire of mediocrity. The fries, in short, were not good. They were soggy, tasted stale, and were severely lacking in salt. The only positive I could say was that, due to the curliness of the fries, they had a good PPB. Each bite was filled with potato and was satisfying. Again, I’ve had good fries in this location before, but this time, I was quite unfortunate.
